On December 3, 2024, the foundation committee, together with the Thai Consul General in Nanning, visited Tianning Temple. This temple, one of the oldest in Nanning, was originally built during the Tang Dynasty (726 AD) and was initially known as Longxing Temple. It was renamed Tianning Temple during the Ming Dynasty (around 1368-1398 AD) and was rebuilt in 1644 AD.

The foundation committee held a meeting with Venerable Shi Zhankong, Abbot of Tianning Temple and President of the Guangxi Buddhist Association. The meeting was attended by religious affairs officials from Guangxi Province, as well as the Consul-General. They discussed future cooperation in studying Mahayana teachings, with the intention of translating significant treatises into Thai.
